ArteEast published a promotion for F7ALI F7ALEK on the “Industry News” portion of their website on November 1st. ArteEast showcases contemporary artists from the Middle East and North Africa to a wider audience around the world. The organization hosts public cultural events, art exhibitions, and film screenings as well as maintaining a website full of resources and artist information.

F7ALI F7ALEK has an ad in the November 2012 edition of La Carte de Tanger, a monthly map of Tangier that pinpoints museums, monuments, and art spaces, as well as information cultural events happening in the city. La Carte de Tanger is available at Ibn Battouta Airport and Tangier’s train and bus stations, as well as at cafés, restaurants, hotels, and cultural institutions around the city.

On September 24th, the American Legation hosted a workshop sponsored by the U.S. Embassy for performing artists in Morocco. The F7ALI F7ALEK production team was present to share about our experience putting together this project. You can spot a few team members in the photo accompanying this post from the Tangier American Legation Institute for Moroccan Studies blog.

F7ALI F7ALEK held its second round of auditions at the American Legation on September 23rd. Legation Director Gerald Loftus wrote a great piece in support of the project. You can check it out here.
